  Can we make our own magazine?

  i had an idea the other day while seeing someone reading a watchtower magazine on the bus, why can't we make a magazine similar to the watchtower in size, font, and format?.

  even a one time 16-page brochure would be great.. basically even if many jws are stubborn it would help at least some who are on the fence.... why can't we?

  we don't even have to make it say jehovah's witnesses on the cover.. just call it.... the truth (where the watchtower header line would go in the same font).

  I dunno I think it may be a good idea only because most JW's don't search the net to know the truth about the WTS.

  I'm sure since they are going through the renovation kh farse at the moment and see it in print...especially the elders.....it may ring a bell. It actually happend to me this weekend when I mentioned it to a family member....(.they dont' scout the net) but when I told them....they had said....it's funny I should mention the renovation thing because a sister just told me about it........

  Menlo Park KH discussion in the WTS' eyes

  after reading much on this scandal, we know that many if not all jws will not go out of there way to read up on this info.

  does anyone know what the rumor in the congregations are about this topic?

  i'm sure alot of them are just taken back by fellow witnesses taking the society to court, bringing reproach on god's name.

  Come to think of it....this weekend I heard a hall in NYC has been under renovation for two years now. A sister who told my family she mentioned she was getting real tired of waiting for the hall to be done! It shouldn't take a KH to two years to renovate, correct? The halls in NYC are simple, no parking lot or yards. Poor thing little does she know they may never get it back....

  The horrible thing is none of these JW's really understand what's happening. I hope all hell breaks loose and the brothers pickit with signs stating the KH farce or it gets blasted on the news.....

  From what I heard Memorial attendence was low. Even my family didn't attend. I think somethings stirrng even within the WTS.....

  i am happy today.

  a few days ago i spoke with my sister and she brought up how some friend of her son's has been bashing the wt.

  she was asking me what i knew about the nwt and russell and pyramidology.

  @SIM maybe you can suggest that this elder read the offical court documents to know the real truth. The opposing side would bring that up if that rumor is true just as it did when the WTS attorney Hayden Covenington had to admit the WTS is publishing false prophacy and DFing for those who didn't believe their false prophacy.....

  Imagine this: A Leak of Major Announcement this Summer.

  the truth has been streamlined.

  the new smaller magazines starting in january, if armageddon hasn't come before then, are even more simplified.

  i know you cannot imagine that being possible, but they are.

  I also did a domain name search as well email search and who it's registered to. The info is pretty well shelded under this http://www.domaincrawler.com/12.3.51.210 however, notice on this page "Fine Times Inc." is also linked with this company armoniainvestments.com which is a major real estate firm. I wondering if the WTS owns this co. or just does real estate business with this company....?

  Ha.....as you can see I have lots of time on my hands today! What's that saying? Idle hands .......lol

  If anyone out there has time and can check this out? It could be nothing or a whole lot of something.....

  Does anyone know about this "Fine Times" company?

  A company named Fine Times that owns a number of properties in Brooklyn Heights has a few Watchtower people who are partners or employees. Fine Times bought a number of derilict properties and made an attempt to clean them up and turn them around I hope that they were successful but who knows they bought high at the boom then the crash who knows how thing went? [I THINK Fine Times is a part of the Jehovah Witnesses.]

  i am from russia, and i've ben a jw for a 19 years of my life, since my early childhood.last 5-6 years that i spend my time in the organization, it was only because my family, close friends, and a girlfriend.i've been a pioneer for a 6 years, but my favorite kind of ministry was construction of kingdom halls!

  (because there was a lot of humour, creative young people, young and pretty sisters, etc.

  ;)i still have very good memories about that period...nearly before i finally quit, i was disfellowshipped for a 1 year and 4 months.in that time i 've reed a "crisis of concience" and "in search for christian freedom", and give those book to my mom,she already was inactive, and having a serious doubts.but i was too naive!i decided to comeback into organization- cause of my girlfriend and friends.and remain there as a "double agent" or a spy))i had to pass through all the way to be reinstated...when i 'came back', i had a bad surprise: the elders decided that i need to study some publications again,for my "reabilitation".

  This weekend I received a wonderful phone call! My very close family member who's studying is now seeing the REAL TRUTH about the WTS. I've been very patient not pushing anything and actually insisted that instead of them just mindlessly underlining answers to study questions, really look at and degest what you're studying as well as not cherry pick scripture. Also much info that many of you have posted has helped me stay strong as well as educate myself to combact mis information the WTS is deceiving their followers into believing
